At Jono’s, we invest in the best equipment to ensure all our services are delivered at the highest level. We always clean panels with pure water, leaving no mineral deposits on your panels.
WHAT TO DO AND WHAT NOT TO DO
Your solar panels are a significant investment, and it’s important to keep them clean.
Do not:
- Use abrasive brushes
- Use a sharp tool to scrape off lichen
- Use a mop, this will not work
- Use chemicals - Only water. Pure water is best (De-mineralised)
- Don't scale the roof yourself without the correct equipment and experience
Do:
- Hire a well seasoned professional with the right equipment
- Have your panels cleaned annually to prolong their lifespan and return on investment
- Get us to also inspect your roof and gutters while we're up there!
- Consider bird proofing your panels to prevent any potential future infestation
